Super Vero was proud to support UNICEF’s humanitarian Fair Play basketball tournament, dedicated to improving the mental health of children and youth in Serbia. This charity sports event once again showed that sports have the power to transcend the boundaries of the game—they become a driving force for unity, solidarity, and responsibility toward the community we all live in.
For Super Vero, initiatives like this are more than just an opportunity to provide financial support. They are also a chance to send a clear message about the values we nurture: that caring for people, supporting the youngest among us, and investing in the community are the foundation of our business. We believe that sports are the perfect way to develop qualities needed in both life and work, such as team spirit, mutual respect, perseverance, and fair play. These are the very values we want to carry beyond the sports arena and into our everyday relationships with employees, consumers, and the community.
The tournament brought together numerous companies, and through a joint effort, 1,440,000 din were raised, sending a powerful message about the importance of investing in the mental health of children and youth. This summer, UNICEF signed a strategic partnership with the Basketball Federation of Serbia, further confirming the role of sports as an important ally in promoting and protecting children’s rights. Initiatives like this confirm that the greatest changes happen when different stakeholders—institutions, companies, and citizens—work together for the same goal.
For Super Vero, social responsibility isn’t a one-time activity—it’s a long-term commitment. We are especially proud of our multi-year sponsorship of the Paralympic Committee of Serbia (POKS), through which we provide support to athletes with disabilities. Their perseverance, achievements, and strength of spirit inspire children and adults across Serbia to believe in themselves and their abilities.
