Prizes worth 1,300,000 RSD for Paralympic champions from Super Vero

As a longstanding sponsor of the Serbian Paralympic Team, we rewarded the medalists from the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games 2024. with vouchers worth 1,300,000 RSD for shopping at Super Vero.

With this gesture, we wanted to express our deep admiration for these extraordinary athletes, who are not only remarkable sportspeople but also inspiring individuals. As long-term sponsors of the Paralympic Committee of Serbia, we are thrilled to continuously support our Paralympians and celebrate their outstanding sports achievements that have brought them to Paris. We believe the string of great news from competitions around the world will continue, as Serbia’s national team is filled with phenomenal athletes.

The President of the Paralympic Committee of Serbia, Zoran Mićović, emphasized that our athletes have always had significant support from the state. He also pointed out that Veropoulos has been a consistent sponsor of the Paralympic Committee for years, recognizing the importance of such support even when others had not. “We are grateful to them for standing by us all these years,” Mićović concluded.

Serbia won six medals at the Paris Paralympic Games—one gold, three silver, and two bronze.

The gold medal for Serbia was won by shooter Dragan Ristić in the 50-meter prone air rifle event. Ristić had already claimed two gold medals at the previous Paralympic Games in Tokyo, reaffirming his status as one of Serbia’s top athletes.

The Serbian Paralympic team also took home three silver medals. Two were won by para table tennis player Borislava Perić-Ranković, in individual competition and doubles with Nada Matić.

This marks Borislava’s incredible seventh medal at this prestigious event, following her previous haul of three silvers, two bronzes, and one gold.

The third silver medal was earned by para-athlete Nebojša Đurić in shot put.

Bronze medals for Serbia were claimed by para table tennis player Mitar Palikuća and club thrower Željko Dimitrijević, who secured his fourth Paralympic medal after winning two golds and a silver in London, Rio, and Tokyo.
