Potato soup with chicken

In the “sea” of modern dishes and recipes, old-fashioned potato soup is completely neglected as part of lunch, even though it is a dish that children will love. A very tasty and nutritious dish that is quickly prepared, it only takes 40-50 minutes.

Components:

  • 1 onion
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 larger potatoes
  • 500 g of chicken breast
  • Flour
  • Spices, pepper, parsley, chili

Preparation:

Fry the onion and garlic in a little oil. When it becomes sweet, add the diced chicken and carrots. Fry it all together, add water and let it cook. When the meat is soft, add the potatoes. You can add vegetables as you wish, some add red pepper. Add more water and cook for 25 minutes, or until the potatoes are cooked. Add salt as needed. When the broth is almost ready, prepare the sauce. Fry the paprika in a little oil, add the flour and mix quickly so that it does not clump. Add water from the broth and stir until it boils. Then pour the sauce into the broth, stirring gently to combine with the broth. Continue to cook for another 5-10 minutes at a low temperature. Towards the end, season the broth with pepper, parsley and chili.

A little tip, a slice of white cheese goes great with the dish!
