Official Rules of the “Gastronomic Odyssey” Creative contest

  1. ORGANIZER

The organizer of the contest “Super Vero – Gastronomic Odyssey” (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”) is VEROPOULOS d.o.o. Belgrade, located at Milutina Milankovića 86a, Novi Beograd, with registration number 17330012. The contest is conducted based on these official rules (hereinafter referred to as the “Rules”).

The prizes for the contest winners are provided by VEROPOULOS d.o.o. Belgrade, Milutina Milankovića 86a, Novi Beograd.

The organizer reserves the right to amend or supplement these Rules at any time and to publish the updated Rules publicly on the official Instagram page:

and on the website www.supervero.rs.

  1. TERRITORY AND DURATION

The contest is organized from June 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024, exclusively within the territory of Serbia. Information related to the contest will be posted on the Super Vero Serbia Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/superveroserbia/) and on the official website www.supervero.rs.

  1. PARTICIPATION RULES AND CONTEST MECHANISM

Participation is open only to individuals, citizens of Serbia, residing in Serbia, who are 18 years or older on the contest start date.

Employees of the Organizer, VEROPOULOS d.o.o. Belgrade, and individuals directly or indirectly involved in organizing or conducting the contest, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate in the contest.

By participating in the contest, participants understand, irrevocably agree to, and accept these Rules.

To participate in the contest, participants must:

  1. Purchase Greek products from the “Greek Month” leaflet worth a minimum of 1,500 dinars at any Super Vero market and keep the receipts as proof of meeting the participation condition.
  2. Take a photo or video creatively showcasing what Mediterranean treasures mean to them, using the Greek products purchased from Super Vero.
  3. Follow Super Vero profiles on social networks Instagram @superveroserbia and/or Facebook Super Vero Srbija.
  4. Post the photo or video on an unlocked Facebook or Instagram profile.
  5. Tag @superveroserbia in the post and use the hashtags #gastronomskaodiseja, #grčkimesec, #grckimesec.
  6. Alternatively, send the photo or video to the email grckimesec@supervero.rs if they do not have social media profiles, agreeing to publish their work and the email from which the entry was sent for participation in the contest.

Each participant can enter as many times as they wish but can win only one prize if their work is recognized as appropriate based on creativity criteria by the jury.

Participants agree that photos sent by email may be published on the Super Vero Serbia Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/superveroserbia/) and on the official website supervero.rs.

The contest runs from June 1, 2024, to June 30, 2024.

Winners will be announced between July 1, 2024, and July 15, 2024.

A professional jury will select winners based on creativity and fulfillment of conditions, with the best photos or videos posted on Instagram or Facebook profiles according to these Rules.

Prizes:

  1. First prize – vouchers for shopping at Super Vero worth a total of 200.000 dinars.
  2. Second prize – vouchers for shopping at Super Vero worth a total of 100.000 dinars.
  3. Third prize – vouchers for shopping at Super Vero worth a total of 50.000 dinars.
  4. Consolation prizes – 10 vouchers for shopping at Super Vero worth 10.000 dinars each.

Winners will be chosen based on creativity by the professional jury.

Winners will be announced no later than July 15, 2024, on the Super Vero Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/superveroserbia/) and on the official website (https://www.supervero.rs/).

Winning photos will be published regardless of whether they were previously posted on Instagram or sent by email.

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Validation of Winners:

After the contest ends, the Organizer will validate the winners and prize recipients.

Winners must contact the Organizer via direct message on the Super Vero Serbia Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/superveroserbia/) or directly at grčkimesec@supervero.rs within seven (7) days of the announcement, providing their full name, email, and mobile phone number.

These details will be used by the Organizer only for the purpose of winner validation and prize collection arrangements. These details will be deleted no later than 30 days after prize distribution.

If it is determined within seven days of validation that a participant violated the rules and/or participated with fake Instagram profiles, is an employee or otherwise engaged with the Organizer, or involved in organizing or conducting the contest, the Organizer reserves the right to revoke the participant’s right to the prize.

  1. PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

Prizes will be distributed by VEROPOULOS d.o.o. Belgrade by sending prize collection instructions to the winner’s email address no later than seven days after the winners are announced.

If the identity of the prize collector does not match the declared winner, the prize will not be awarded.

  1. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

By participating in the contest, all participants acknowledge that the Organizer collects personal data such as Instagram profile address, name, email, and mobile phone number solely for the purpose of participating in this contest, conducting the contest, contacting participants regarding the contest, and awarding prizes to contest winners and will not use them for any other purpose. VEROPOULOS d.o.o. Belgrade, as the Organizer, will request data from the contest winners via email or private message on Instagram: full name, contact phone number, and email address solely for the purpose of winner validation and prize collection arrangements. These details will be deleted no later than 30 days after prize collection.

At all stages of the contest process, the organizer is obliged to comply with the Law on Personal Data Protection.

  1. TAXES

VEROPOULOS d.o.o. Belgrade assumes responsibility for paying taxes on the contest prizes according to the applicable law. The tax will be paid into the budget of the Republic of Serbia within the legal deadline. Prizes cannot be exchanged for money, services, or goods.

  1. ORGANIZER’S DISCLAIMER

The Organizer is not responsible for the content that participants post during the contest (inappropriate photos, damaged or poor-quality photos, stolen photos, or photos that participants do not have the right to use, etc.). The Organizer is also not responsible for data interruption caused by poor internet, satellite, or telephone connection or interruption, data transmission interruption caused by satellite transmission, computer software failures or virus insertion, computer disruptions, or inaccurate data transmission, or any similar difficulties in data interruption and transmission or any other type of error, whether human, technical, mechanical, electrical, or network-related.

The Organizer is not responsible for (a) incomplete or inaccurate information regardless of whether it was caused by participants, wireless devices, equipment, or software used during the activities, due to technical or human errors that may occur during participation, (b) theft, destruction, unauthorized access, or modification of entries, (c) technical problems or malfunctions of telephone lines and online computer systems, servers, or providers, equipment, software, viruses, and similar errors, (d) failure to send an entry to the organizer for any reason, (e) damage to the systems or equipment of participants and other persons resulting from participation in the contest.

VEROPOULOS d.o.o. Belgrade assumes responsibility for paying taxes on the contest prizes according to the applicable law. All other fiscal or other obligations related to the prizes after they have been taken into possession are the sole responsibility of the winners.

  1. FORCE MAJEURE

Force majeure refers to circumstances such as earthquakes, natural disasters, floods, war, and similar circumstances that are declared and adopted by civil authorities. Contest activities will be suspended in the event of force majeure by the decision of the organizer, with participants being notified without delay. Complaints after the given deadline will not be considered.

In the event of any disputes that may arise between the Organizer and the participants of this contest, they will be resolved amicably or, if that is not possible, disputes will be resolved by the competent court in Belgrade.

  1. OTHER PROVISIONS

The Organizer reserves the right to intervene at any time during the promotions and, after these changes, to make amendments to the Rules that will be published on the official Instagram page:

Any complaints regarding the contest should be sent to the Organizer via private message on the Instagram page: Super Vero Serbia, during the contest period.

Complaints received after this deadline will not be considered.

In the event of any disputes that may arise between the Organizer and the participants of this contest, they will be resolved amicably or, if that is not possible, disputes will be resolved by the competent court in Belgrade.
