Christmas fasting is believed to have been introduced as early as the 4th century. This fast, as one of the favorites among Christians, lasts 40 days. With their free will, they decide on this feat, the purpose of which is to cleanse the body for a long time, which is achieved not only by abstaining from greasy food, but also from bad thoughts, words and deeds. According to Christian teaching, the founder of fasting is considered to be Jesus Christ himself.
The end of the year is approaching, therefore obligations are piling up and fasting can be challenging. In order to make easier for you, we will present you several ideas for lunch during fasting. 😊
Today we present sea bass with boiled vegetables, prepared on the grill.

Ingredients:
- 4 small sea bass;
- A little salt;
- 2 teaspoons of dry spices;
- 4 tablespoons of lemon juice;
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil.
It’s necessary:
- 200 grams of boiled corn;
- 200 grams of boiled broccoli;
- 100grams of boiled carrots;
- Munshrooms;
- A little salt;
- A spoonful of olive oil.
Preparation:
Clean the fish and dry it well with a paper towel. Salt the outside and rub the inside with lemon juice and dry spices. Heat the grill grates well, coat them with olive oil and place the fish to roast. During baking, additionally coat the fish with olive oil. Bake it on each side for 5-10 minutes. Boil the vegetables, add a little salt and drizzle with olive oil, and serve with the baked fish.
