Lamb from Sjenica in milk


  • 3 1/4 lbs of the highest quality lamb from Sjenica
  • 2 1/4 lbs of potatoes
  • 1 l of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of kaymak
  • salt
  • other spices to taste – rosemary, bay leaf, pepper



If you want achieve the unique taste of the lamb, it is crucial that the salted meat stays in milk for about two hours. First add spices to the milk to taste – rosemary, pepper, bay leaf. When the meat is marinated in this way, it is necessary to put it together with the previously cut potatoes in a bowl and pour over the oil. In the end, don’t forget to add two tablespoons of kaymak, which you can also find in the Super Vero offer. Bake at 180 ° C for about an hour and thirty minutes.
