Joy of Christmas with the support of company Veropoulos

The traditional Christmas reception in the White Palace reunited children from vulnerable categories

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Alexander and Princess Katarina continued the tradition of bringing Christmas joy to children from Serbia and Republika Srpska. This year, the reception at the White Palace gathered more than 1,000 children without parental care, children with developmental disabilities and socially vulnerable children, allowing them to feel the warmth and spirit of this beautiful holiday.

The Veropoulos company is proud to support this initiative by donating 500 gift packages that include creative toys for children. Such events are part of the company’s mission to contribute to the community in which it operates and bring joy to the youngest, especially those who need it the most. The joy on children’s faces is the greatest reward for the effort invested in such projects, and support for such initiatives remains crucial for the further development of community and solidarity.

The receptions were held in the presence of the Bishop of Toplice, Peter, who spoke to the children about the importance of Christmas, while the little ones enjoyed holiday gifts, a program with Santa Claus and performances by the choir of the Belgrade Children’s Cultural Center. Animators from the “Cigra” ensemble brought a special magic, while children received gifts with a smile and listened to stories about the true meaning of Christmas.

Some of the toys could no longer be found for sale, because we prepared them for those who need them more. See how the selection looked in the picture below.

This tradition was started in 2001 with the return of the Royal Family to Serbia, and since then every year it brings joy and holiday spirit to the youngest who need it the most. The company Veropoulos was also presented with a certificate of appreciation:

We thank the Foundation Nj.K.V. on the opportunity to be a part of this noble event and we look forward to further cooperation on projects that create smiles and joy in the youngest.
