Ekofungi – Organic fresh mushrooms exclusively at Super Vero

In many cultures, mushrooms have held a special place in culinary tradition as a superior and luxurious food reserved for special occasions. Fortunately, mushrooms are now accessible to everyone, especially since their more frequent consumption is recommended due to their richness in minerals, fiber, and low calorie content.

In 2018, Ekofungi was recognized by the OECD as the most prominent example of a company in the Western Balkans operating according to the principles of the circular economy. Notably, when growing Ekofungi mushrooms, minimal amounts of water are used, meaning that they do not release excess liquid when prepared.

Ekofungi offers two types of organic mushrooms in 300g packages:

  • White organic mushrooms, with a mild flavor, ideal for lighter dishes.
  • Royal organic mushrooms, with a more intense flavor, often used as a main ingredient in cooking.

These mushrooms can be used fresh or prepared in various ways, including in pastas, risottos, pies, grilling, mashed potatoes, or added to pizzas.
