Dough sticks rolled in garlic

It’s necessary:

  • 400g flour, type 400
  • 1 dl of lukewarm milk
  • 1.5 dl of warmer water
  • 1 dry yeast
  • 0.5 dl of grape seed oil
  • 30 g of buter at room temperature (if you are fasting, you can also use oil)
  • 1 spoon of salt
  • 1 garlic powder
  • 2 handfuls of flour for sprinkling

You also need butter for spreading (oil if you are fasting)

Spread:

  • Garlic powder
  • salt and
  • olive oil

Mix all the ingredients and knead the dough. Transfer it to the work surface and knead for a few minutes on the surface on which you put 1 handful of flour. Do not take additional flour (only if you are working with other flour, add as needed). Leave it at 50 degrees in the oven for about 30-40 minutes (or overnight in the cold, it can be kept at night on the balcony)

Place the remaining handful of flour on the work surface again and knead the dough. Divide it into 50g balls. About 13-15 balls fall out. Roll out the ball, spread it with butter and roll it up. Place the sticks on parchment paper and leave covered for 15 minutes.

Brush them with butter and bake at 250 degrees for about 15 minutes or until golden brown. In a small bowl, mix the oil, salt and onion and coat the hot sticks with this coating.
