Components:
- 5 cups of flour, preferably type 400;
- 1/3 cup of sugar;
- 1 baking powder;
- Pinch of salt;
- 2 cups of milk,
- 2 eggs,
- 1/3 cup of oil;
- Oil or butter for greasing the pan;
- Optional coating, maple syrup, honey, cream, jam or powdered sugar.
Preparation:
Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar and a pinch of salt and mix well. Separate the yolks from the egg whites and add the yolks, milk and oil to the previously combined dry ingredients. You need to beat it well. Beat the egg whites especially hard and gently mix them into the mixture. Pour the mixture into a heated and greased pan with a large ladle, so that you get a really thick pancake and bake. Turn the pancake when bubbles appear on the top side (it doesn’t have to be all over the pancake, they can appear only around the edge).
What is important, do not turn on the stove at the highest temperature.
After frying, wait for them to cool down. They are best served with maple syrup. But since we associate pancakes with cream, you can freely cover them with cream, believe me they will be great too!
Pleasant! 😊
